Large Blue Whale Soft Toy

Ok, you might need to make a little room for this furry friend, who at 50 centimetres long, is doing an awesome job of representing the largest known animal ever.

Measuring about 30 metres in real life, blue whales are extra special to us at the Museum because of Hope whose skeleton suspends from the ceiling of Hintze Hall welcoming visitors.

The soft fabric of this cuddly toy version is made with 40% recycled plastic (polyethylene terephthalate), known as RPET, whereas the squidgy stuffing is 100%.
