Great Blue Heron Audubon Tote Bag

An everyday shopping bag is turned into an elegant piece of art with this organic cotton tote. 

Printed on both sides is the striking image of the great blue heron by artist John James Audubon, its grey feathers and yellow bill are brilliantly offset by the two aqua blue handles.

The original illustration is one of 435 beautifully detailed artworks included in Audobon's book The Birds of America, which was published between 1827 and 1838 and transformed natural history illustration.
