Elephant Soft Toy

The three species of elephants alive today are thought to be descendants of an ancient group of herbivores called Proboscidea, which roamed Africa about 60 million years ago. While today’s species include the African elephant, the largest living animal on land, back then there was a species called Eritherium which was as small as a fox and didn’t have a trunk.

This cuddly toy elephant might be on the smaller size too, but it has a super trunk, which curves up as if ready to trumpet.
