Free standard delivery is available in the UK mainland on orders of £50 or more (excluding custom wall prints and personalised items).

Free next day delivery is available in the UK mainland on orders of £100 or more (excluding custom wall prints and personalised items).

Personalised items: free standard delivery is available in the UK mainland on orders of £30 or more. 

Custom wall prints and personalised items (clothing, posters) are sent directly from our partners and will arrive separately to any non-personalised items in your order. 

Before placing your order, please note:

We are currently unable to send orders to European Union countries and Northern Ireland.

Age-restricted products and items containing batteries can only be sent to UK addresses (not overseas).

We are unable to send orders to Post Office Box (PO Box) or British Forces Post Office (BFPO) addresses.

UK delivery

This information covers orders that are dispatched directly from the Museum to a UK address and will show on the checkout as ‘Museum Gifts Delivery’. (If your order contains custom wall prints, personalised items and clothing, these will be sent from our partners separately.)

Standard delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 48 service

Orders will be delivered within three working days after processing.

DHL Parcel Next Day service

Orders placed by 12 noon (12pm GMT) on Monday to Thursday will be delivered on the following day.
Orders placed after 12 noon (12pm GMT) on Monday to Thursday will be processed on the following day, then delivered on the next working day after that.
Orders placed between Friday and Sunday will be processed on the following Monday and delivered on Tuesday.

Age verification: if your order contains an age-restricted product, proof of age may be required on delivery.

We are currently unable to send orders to countries in the European Union and Northern Ireland. This is due to changing trade rules for non-EU ecommerce (online) stores.

Deliveries to Russia and Belarus have been suspended until further notice.

International orders are priced by weight of the items in your basket. This price will be displayed at the checkout.

The person receiving the order will be responsible for paying any customs charges, taxes or fees incurred during importation into the destination country. These charges are non-refundable in the event of items being returned. The Museum is not responsible for any delays in delivery time for international orders.

We are unable to send age-restricted products and items containing batteries to worldwide destinations. And, due to customs regulations, books cannot be sent to China.

Christmas 2024: If you need your product(s) delivered in time for 25 December 2024, please order them before 12pm on Thursday 12 December.

Personalised clothing and posters are manufactured according to the order specifications, then sent directly from the Museum’s partner supplier. They cannot be combined with other items to reduce delivery costs and will arrive separately from any non-personalised items in your basket.
