Blue Marlin Christmas Tree Decoration

When the four-metre-long namesake of this decoration arrived at our Museum in 2016, it caused quite a stir. Not only are blue marlin among the heaviest fish in the ocean today, this specimen was also one of the largest species ever to be preserved whole in fluid.

This much lighter, felt version is made from sustainably sourced wool and features a green wreath with colourful baubles hooked over its tail.
