This distinguished decoration has been inspired by one of our most awesome specimens: Archie the 8.62-metre-long giant squid, who you can book to see in a behind the scenes tour of our preserved zoology collection. 
 
Each feature of this smaller, bluer, spottier and (possibly) cuter Archie is handmade in Nepal by artisans skilled in needle felting and embroidery using sustainable, biodegradable wool.
